Paralegal – Private Client  

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Paralegal to join our Private Client team in delivering a full range of legal services, involving drafting documents and assisting the team with their caseloads as appropriate.

This role is for a career Paralegal with several years’ experience.

The Role:

The role will focus on Private Client, as well as other paralegal and administration duties, to help ensure the team provides the highest level of client experience. The role duties will involve assisting the team with their caseloads as appropriate as well as billing, document review and coordinating and attending meetings.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Previous senior secretarial or paralegal experience.
  • Experience of using case management software.
  • A good level of IT literacy with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Self-motivated and clear thinking; able to carry out case work accurately and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to work within a team.

Solicitor – Commercial Property 

We are seeking to recruit a Solicitor to join our Commercial Property team, both working remotely and within our Bristol office.

This position will suit an ambitious and proactive individual who is comfortable establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with our clients, as well as contributing to business development and growing the Commercial Property portfolio.

The Role:

This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated solicitor with ambition to work in the Commercial Property department. This role will require the undertaking of fee earning work, working both independently and as a member of the team, maintaining existing relations with the firm’s clients and to assist and help develop new relationships with new clients and third-party referrers. 

What are we looking for?

  • Qualified Solicitors (5/7 Years PQE)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadline and competing priorities.
  • Good “hands on” commercial property experience in Landlord and Tenant, secured lending work, investment sales and purchases.
  • Excellent client facing skills and the ability to nurture existing clients and third-party relationships as well as the ability to help develop new business and assist in networking events.
  • The ability to prioritise work and to work to strict timescales where required.
  • Technical proficiency and good IT skills.
  • Good academic background.

Associate Solicitor – Corporate and Commercial

We are seeking to recruit an Associate Solicitor to join our Corporate and Commercial team, both working remotely and within our Bristol office.

The successful candidate will join a busy team with an established and growing reputation, a challenging workload from a varied client base and a supportive team spirit.

The Role:

The role will require an individual to undertake fee earning work in the Corporate and Commercial department as well as supporting the Digital Marketing and Technology, Food Drink and Hospitality and/or Manufacturing and Supply Chain sectors.

The incumbent will need to get involved in the development and work of the department by maintaining excellent relationships with our current clients as well as contributing to business development.

 What are we looking for?

  • Qualified Solicitors (4/8 years PQE)
  • Thorough experience in Corporate and Commercial law.
  • Knowledge of company and contract law with a track record of assisting M&A deals.
  • An excellent knowledge of contracts, research and drafting skills and a good working knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • A confident approach and capability to deal with difficult situations, remaining robust under pressure.
  • A commitment to being involved in marketing and business development activities.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines whilst always ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and clear thinking, able to carry out case work accurately and with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral at all levels with clients, staff and others.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Ability to work with minimal administrative assistance.

Associate Director/Senior Lawyer – Private Client

We are seeking to recruit an Associate Director/ Senior Lawyer to join our Private Client team, both working remotely and within our Bristol office.

Private Client services are a key part of our business. We provide legal advice to high net worth individuals and business owners across a wide range of complex matters.

The Role:

The role will require an individual who will  provide  excellent private client legal advice and services to our private client customers in line with departmental targets. The individual will also  be the private client team senior expert and lead in wills and estate planning, probate and tax will share that expertise with the private client team. You will also  work with the Private Client Head of Department on setting team targets, supervising and developing more junior staff and marketing the private client service offering.

What are we looking for?

  • STEP qualified.
  •  Associate Director/Senior Lawyer level experience in a Private Law practice.
  • Proven ability to supervise and coach others.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Excellent client facing skills and the ability to nurture existing clients and third-party relationships as well as the ability to help develop new business and assist in networking events.
  • The ability to help build the client base and help market the firm’s wider services.
  • Technical proficiency and good IT skills.

Senior Family Solicitor/ Assistant Head of Department

If you are a senior Family law solicitor ready for a new challenge, we would like to hear from you. We are looking for someone to step into the role of Assistant Head of our Family law team alongside fee earning work.
