Construction Breakfast is back by popular demand for Bristol industry leaders
Following October’s hugely successful Construction Breakfast hosted by Gregg Latchams, the Bristol law firm is inviting a different panel of industry and city specialists, including: John Wright, Director and Head of Bristol Office; Rob Delius, Head of Sustainability; Paul Seaver, Urban Designer; and Isabel Carter, Head of Landscape Design, Stride Treglown. and Gregg Latchams’ own Head of Construction David Morris to engage in further discussions around the future of Bristol as a city.
The event, named Big Ideas for Bristol, will be held on Thursday 12th November from 7.30am-9.00am at The Watershed in Bristol and is the latest in a hugely successful programme of events hosted by Gregg Latchams.
With Bristol providing plenty of opportunity for construction as it continues to grow and flourish, Gregg Latchams welcomes the team at Stride Treglown, the creative and inspiring Bristol-based practice behind 52 Big Ideas for Bristol who will be bringing a 53rd idea to explore on the day.
In addition, a talk on Castle Park will be a hot topic of discussion, and how a reimagining of the space can create exciting opportunities for this crucial site in the heart of the city. Having only been a park for 40 years, 100 years ago, it was a commercial hub for the city, with densely packed housing and commercial enterprises rubbing shoulders.
A discussion on how industry experts can change this space over the next 40-100 years will be posed, encompassing the impact major developments will serve on the community of new and old.
Head of Construction at Gregg Latchams, David Morris, said: “We are thrilled to play host to the construction community once again which is testament to the passion among industry leaders in Bristol.
“We have a fantastic line up on the day that will undoubtedly create a great debate and generate some fantastic ideas to help shape the future of this vibrant city.”
