GL Law corporate team advise health technology pioneer Invatech Health on the sale of its care homes eMAR system
GL Law has successfully advised Bristol-based Invatech Health on the acquisition of its care homes electronic medication administration record (eMAR) business, Atlas, to care home management specialists Person Centred Software (PCS).
Across the UK 700 care homes use Atlas in collaboration with 165 independent pharmacies. PCS, based in Guildford in Surrey, provides best-in-class clinical software for a network of global customers including 3,000 care homes in the UK.
Paul Hardman, Director and Head of Corporate & Commercial at GL Law, led the team with support from Karen Davies (corporate) and Ed Jaffa (IP related matters). The team have worked with Invatech Health’s industry-disrupter CEO Tariq Muhammad and his team for 3 years, following his journey with cutting-edge pharmacy management software, Titan. Paul said: “This is a tremendous result for Tariq and his team, and a vindication for the faith shown by them in their vision for the future of medicines dispensing”.
