Introducing ‘GL Law’

03 November 2020 | Richard Hill

Leading law firm Gregg Latchams has today announced that it will now be known as GL Law, as part of its strategic plans for the future. One of the oldest surviving legal practices in the UK, the change comes as part of a major rebrand for the firm, undertaken to support the planned transition to the post pandemic landscape and with clients in mind.

“The past six months has accelerated our investment in technology and agile working whilst shaping our services to support clients when the going gets tough. It’s been an exciting and very insightful period in that respect. It’s given us laser focus to think about what really matters to clients and how we can direct change for the firm to shape a new collective future, said Richard Hill, Managing Director at GL Law.

“The foundations for the change to GL Law were set out a couple of years ago to reflect a more modern, fresh approach to our business. We’ve added to this all that we’ve learnt during the past six months, without forgetting our 300 year legacy of course. Change is a given to embrace not fight and having been in business for this long has meant we are constantly evolving to meet our clients’ needs. For us, successfully delivering legal services is about providing solutions to clients in a way that suits them and adds value, demystifying the legal process and offering long term support for their changing circumstances. We could not do this without our team of course, these are the wonderful people who have made and will continue to drive GL Law forward each and every day, through their hard work and commitment to their clients and each other” he added.

The rebrand reflects the firms move towards a hybrid agile working model – which will evolve to combine new office space and home-based flexible working for the long term. The legal and support teams will all have greater freedom to work with a focus on client service and productivity instead of hours in the office.
