Gregg Latchams launches regular Tech Social events

02 February 2017 |

Our Digital Media & Technology team have announced the start of their brand new Tech Social events for tech entrepreneurs, experts and professionals in Bristol. The event will take place at our newly refurbished offices on Queen Square on Thursday 23rd February at 6pm. The informal gathering includes a short talk from an invited guest (who will be revealed nearer the time) and will give guests the opportunity to network amongst the eclectic gathering and to chat with the Gregg Latchams team about legal concerns or advancements in tech law.

Commenting about the launch, Ed Boal, our Deputy Head of Digital Media & Technology at Gregg Latchams, said:

“We all know that the Bristol tech scene is vibrant and growing and, having worked with a number of tech businesses, we understand the value in being able to meet up informally to chat. That’s why we’re delighted to launch the first event of our new series of Tech Socials. It’s also an exciting area of law, with tech developments continuing to push boundaries and re-write legislation. So it is critical that businesses remain protected and supported as they grow.”

Ed continued:

“Tech Social is simply about bringing together our growing network of clients and contacts within the local digital media and tech sector. It will be a great opportunity to discuss shared interests in the industry, hopefully leading to fruitful collaborations.”

The Digital Media & Technology team is deeply embedded into the South West tech market. Gregg Latchams have delivered workshops and sit on Business Review Panels for SETsquared Bristol. In addition, the company is now providing free legal advice clinics at the Future Space hub within the University Enterprise Zone at UWE.
