Solicitors get quizzical for charity

11 October 2016 |

Last week, Gregg Latchams hosted our 3rd annual charity quiz at The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer pub on King Street, just behind our Bristol Offices.

The winners, 3PB Barristers, went home not only with the glory of being crowned first place, but also received a bottle of champagne and trophies. In total, 26 teams entered, with the Gregg Latchams home team placing mid-table, made up of Julian Pyrke, Emma Ironside, May Hezwani and Shalini Jagmohan.

The quiz was devised by GL solicitor Alex Rossiter, who themed the questions, which ranged from Michael Jackson to Grand National Winners.

The quiz raised £2000 for a number of selected charities in Bristol. These were Dance Voice, Crisis Centre Ministries, St Paul’s Youth & Family Project, Bristol Hospital Radio, Avon Counselling and Psychotherapy Service, Bristol Area Stroke Foundation, Jessie May and Brandon Trust. We are more than happy to support such inspiring charities and look forward to supporting them again in the future.

The evening was enjoyed by punters and the Gregg Latchams team alike. We’d like to say a big thank you to both Alex and our executive assistant Kayleigh Groves, who worked hard to make the event a success.
