Bristol based law firm, Gregg Latchams, has welcomed three new lawyers in the fields of Construction, Employment Law and Intellectual Property. The legal practitioners bring a wealth of experience and specialist industry knowledge providing an additional asset to the firm’s expertise. The appointments come as Gregg Latchams gears up for growth.

Nick Jones, Associate Director and Head of Employment & Corporate Support, joins Gregg Latchams with an all-encompassing background in employment law. Developing a prominent career in Bristol, Nick spent 21 years refining his legal expertise at Lyons Davidson Ltd, whilst working with employers nationally. His particular skill set lies in advising employers, business owners and senior executives on the strategic employment law issues affecting their business.

Joining as Associate Director and Head of Construction & Engineering, Andrew Evans moves from his role of Senior Legal Counsel at FTSE 250 company, Pennon Group PLC (parent of Viridor and South West Water).  Andrew has extensive experience procuring, negotiating and delivering construction and engineering projects, from R&D collaboration efforts to full scale Project Agreements and Energy from Waste facilities.

Chris Haywood has moved from intellectual property boutique Sipara to become an Associate Solicitor in Intellectual Property (IP). He previously trained in the London and Paris offices of Eversheds LLP (now Eversheds Sutherland). As an intellectual property and media lawyer, he has worked with leading companies in the fashion, art and creative industries. He has a particular expertise in global trade mark and brand management.

Commenting on the new additions to the Gregg Latchams team Richard Hill, Managing Director, said:

It is an exciting time to join Gregg Latchams as the business continues to expand both here in Bristol and in London. Nick, Andrew and Chris are very welcome additions and experts in their own field of law. As part of our focus on key sectors, we have seen an increasing need for reliable, tailored legal assistance for businesses as they continue to grow and develop and our new solicitors will be able to provide our clients (both locally, nationally and internationally) with an even wider range of service offering.”
