How can we help?
Shareholder disputes are on the rise. We act for and against minority shareholders who issues claims for unfairly prejudicial conduct by other shareholders, claims for breaches of director duties, contractual claims against third party companies for non-compliance with contracts and debt collection.
Even with a written shareholders’ agreement, issues can arise where minority shareholders find themselves subject to conduct by the other shareholders which negatively impacts on share value. There are options open to those shareholders to enforce their rights and to prevent such action being taken.
These can be complicated claims with a range of remedies available to the shareholders.
The team offers advice at the early stages of a dispute through to issuing court proceedings and enforcing court orders and judgments. We will explore the merits of your position with you and advise on the options available, focusing on the most cost-effective route to a resolution.
